Though rarely, payment may fail after charging your car. It can be caused by for example an expired bank card, no sufficient funds in your account or the error of the Payment Service Provider.
After an unsuccessful transaction a warning will appear on the main page of the application saying „You have an unpaid transaction!”. You will also be notified about the failed payment in the Charging summary e-mail.
You can complete the payment by following these steps:
1. Open the application.
2. Click on the red bar at the top of the screen which says „You have an unpaid transaction!”
3. Charging history will be opened. Click on the green „Pay Invoice” button.
4. OTP SimplePay opens. Make sure you fill in the corresponding fields with the details of a valid bank card with sufficient funds.
5. Press the „Pay” button.
6. A new window informs you about the successful transaction and an e-mail is sent to the registered e-mail address.
7. Bank card details given this way are not be saved. If your previously added bank card is causing the failed payment, please add another one!
- New bank card can be added in the Payment menu by clicking the green „Add new Debit card” button at the bottom of the screen.
In case you did not have a chance to complete the payment in the following five mornings our system tries to charge the amount of your debt on the bank card registered to your account. If the transaction still cannot be completed successfully on the fifth day you are informed via e-mail about the debt. This e-mail contains a link redirecting you to the OTP SimplePay website where you can settle your debt with a valid bank card.
Warning: the debt can only be settled through the application or the link sent in the notification e-mail about your debt! We cannot accept transfers to our bank account!
